even if your car is boosted, it'll never sound like and evo or wrx. the boxer motor is what make the wrx sound like the way they do...

^^^even with a bigger inlet on the mufller it wont get the sound that your looking for. you might get that sound if you had 2.5 piping all the way from the header. i'm going to try this and see if the sound changes and also for better flow, i know it won't sound exactly but either way it'll flow better than the stock piping...

Actually, it has more to do with what you post, all of this stuff is classic...

I am kinda leaning towards something nismo.
Would the extra .5 liters make that much of a diff too?
I really like the sound a G35 and 350z make.
What there not legit? How come the 370Z has a nismo exhaust from Nissan?
how the heck am I gonna have that handy? lol

Get a 24" resonator and a 3" Dynamax super turbo muffler.

Agreed with the resonator (from doing research on the super turbo muffler).

But why do you suggest the 3" inlet/outlet dynamax? Why not the 2.5"? No reason to get 3" if its smaller diameter prior to muffler. Just wondering.

I think I may get the 2.5" muffler #17748. I've heard good things about it. But there are a few who absolutely hated it.
