Aftermarket Sunroofs???

Has anyone had an aftermarket sunroof put in?. How much does it cost? Is it worth it? Is there anything I should look out for? I have a 98 GXE.

Unless you have a real reputable dealer put it in for you, and he follows ALL the steps....your probably gonnna have water problems down the road

I know 3 people who have had aftermarket sunroofs put in by very reputable dealers. One of them has water problems already after 1 year, the other 2 are still fine. Im not taking the chance of damaging my interior just for a sunroof, wish I had one but wouldnt take the risk.

They are really only good from the factory...my friends mom had one put in her jetta at the dealer before she bought it, and 6 months after its started to leak...
