exhaust question

My intermediate pipe rusted out and the flange broke. The rest of the exhaust looks pretty bad to, save the muffler. If I go full exhaust, where should I look? If I have a resonator-less intermediate pipe with a stockish muffler, will it be loud?

a quick search throught the GD section shows at least 3 vendors with cat-back systems ranging from ~200 - ~1000 dollars. Stainless gets the price up high, but the advantage is that it will last forever, you can swap it out or re-sell it down the road.

I have the Cattman cat-back with a Y pipe, it gives a nice growl that's not obnoxious, but is definitely throaty compared to stock, even at idle. It is pricey, but the quality is top notch, and Brian is very helpful and supports his products. Or you can go to your local exhaust shop and have them make you up a custom set-up, probably in the middle of the price range noted above.

I just answered this question a few days ago in another thread.

Didn't even think to look in there, thanks. That custommaxima system looks pretty nice. I may get that and just sell the muffler.
