95 maxi starting problems.

So i pulled out my fuel pump relay, fuel pump, and my crankshaft POS sensor. Now my car has difficulty starting but when it starts runs just fine.

The crankshaft POS sensor was the last thing i pulled and put back in, the problem started after that after driving like 10 miles.

I pulled the relay and fuel pump and put them back in and drove for a week and it was fine but after i pulled the crankshaft sensor that day car started having starting issues, it cranks fine just doesn't start till like 20 30 seconds.

I have tried multiple crankPOS sensors.

idk maybe the problem is elsewhere? just a strange coincidence?

do i need to reset the ecu after pulling the sensor out ? I needed the sensor for my other maxi i was fixing to test, that's why i pulled it.

A quick way to check your crank POS sensor and wiring is to 1) disconnect the battery, 2) In the FSM find which connector & pin(s) numbers of the ECU the signal(s) go to. 3) Take resistance measurements between those pin(s) and also between the pin(s) and ground.

Make sure you note where you are putting the red lead and black lead of your meter when you take measurements.

Do the same thing with your working Maxima, if the measurements are very similar than your crank POS and circuit are probably OK.
