New CAI Issues

So i just put a new Injen Cold Air intake in my max last night and when i first tried to start it everything died, so i looked at the intake and relized i hadn't reconnected a hose leading to the front side of my engine, which came loose when i was putting the battery back in, so I reconnected it, but something mounted to the front of the stock intake was hanging lose. could it be that whatever that is needs to be grounded? The max runs but I'm worried that it may short out while i'm driving it.

Could you be more less descriptive?

...

Wait, yes, probably. "something mounted to the front of the stock intake was hanging lose". I assume thats your air intake sensor. No, thats not a ground. Its a sensor. You wont short anything.

"something mounted to the front of the stock intake was hanging lose."

Sounds like the "boost sensor" (MAP), just zip tie it to something. Nothing would ground to a plastic intake, so no, it wouldn't need to be grounded.

I'm guessing that's what he's talking about too. Pop it in the filter and your good to go.

Make sure the temperature sensor is installed, and make sure that there's no leak.

Post pics to show us what you're talking about.
