Question about Torque Converter

Question about Torque Converter

Is torqure converter suppose to have oil inside? and if i flip it upside down...is it suppose to leak out? is there anyway about drainning the fluid inside? and what kinda of oil should i put back in? thanks!

whoa!

dang..that's a lot info hehe..now i know how it works.....the reason why i am asking is because i am selling my torque converter, and when i was carrying it arouind..some fluid came out.... and i guess..i want the buyer to recieve it in it's best condition

There should be more than 3 quarts of fluid in there.

As medic said, there is a LOT of fluid in there, hence you can never have a true ATF change unless you use the "flush" machine. Wow...a seller who cares...wow!

is the fluid suppose to come out though? it doesn't come out alot, but just a little bit..but i guess....since pump is part of it hehe... it suppose to come out just a little? if it is tilted? hopefully u'll understand what i am saying =( me stupid

u know how there is a whole on one side? that's where it's leaking out...i just took it out of my car, and i should be fine...but just didn't know how to ship it. =\

Saran wrap the hole and put a rubber band to keep it there.

Yes, fluid will come out.

u are the one? tight!! well...it's in very good condition..i posted this because i don't want to send you a bad torque converter, and if it is bad...i'll be glad to give you the money back ^_^.
