if i were you i'd get the dimensions of the screws and look for them at a hardware store... then again, i can't picture exactly what your describing. if its just a few screws that can come out, replacing them is no problem at all.

I'd simply find out who the seller was and try to either A. Get my money or B. Get SOME money back for the repair you have to do due to his lack of information.

post some pics. theres plenty of ppl on here that could offer you some great advice on how to fix em yourself. im sure its not too hard at all. you just need a few more sets of eyes on them to see what your best course of action would be.

i changed out my 97 plastic headlights to the 96 glass headlights and didnt realize that i had a broken adjustment screw. it was broken at the point where the plastic nut that clips into the housing that adjust the aim of the headlights. luckily it was in a spot where i could use that metal putty that gets really hard. i just fashioned it around the plastic nut and placed it back in its seat and let it cure. Hard as steel and now i can adjust the light without it popping out of position

Just out of curiosity ... Why did you do that? Most people change from the 95-96 to the 97-99 headlights for clarity. I don't think I ever heard of anyone changing it the opposite way.

BINGO!!! Got tired of buffing the headlights more than the paint. Plus I do a lot of Highway driving and bug guts some off the glass a lot easier without worrying about scratching the lens. It has served me well thus far.
