My '95 SE is "Neptune Blue" (deep dark blue), so I think it might look good w/ a completely tinted rear.
Thanks!
Re: Re: Hope I don't jinx myself....
You can't do it on the '95-'96 because there is nothing to remove when you open the lense up. On the '95-'96 the orange is part of the lens cover. On the '97-'99, the orange piece is an extra lens.

From what I know you can't do this Mod on a 95-96 because the Tail is all one piece(red, amber & clear). What Pocketrocket is having DaveL do is, take a totally clear rear(not stock) tail light and painting the bottom half red, thus the red and clear tail light.

Correct me if I'm wrong (cuz it's def. not the first time, and won't be the last), but couldn't you go to walmart and get some of the cheap limo tint and place it on the tails? Just a suggestion.

The smoke tinting spray is different in this respect, because it is designed to let some amount of light pass through it, whereas a white "paint" is not.

im not sure about you guys, but ive talked to the cops about the taillight situation...and they said that your taillights can be green, blue, etc. as long as they light the proper color...well, and are bright enough to be clearly seen at a distance...which is where they get most people.
this may not be true of everywhere, but at least in indiana, that is the case.
