I know this isn't a maxima question, but I was replacing a sun visor in my wife's Volvo and I cut the wire to the vanity light and spliced in the replacement sun visor. When I started the car, the fuse blew and the vanity light didn't work along with all the accessories on this circuit. Can I cap off the wires and just use the sun visor WITHOUT the vanity light?

you blew a fuse cuz that circuit was trying to pull more amps then the fuse

try at your own risk

put a bigger fuse in to handle the extra amps
