Bose problem
Well, after spending 50 bucks on an adapter for the bose to be able to run 2 rca's to my amp, the fkin thing doesn't work right. The adapter is a little box that has rca holes on one end of it. It has 2 sets of cables, one that you plug into the bose, and the other is where you plug in the stock cable. It just basically goes through it. It gave me a hissing noise, which I can't get rid off, its not too loud but at night I can notice it. Plus, when I put my headlights on or just parking lights, the radio lights turn off!, the radio stilly plays and everything. Where can I find which bose cables stand for what (u know a wiring diagram or something) because I have to find where the power/dimmer or whatever is so I can mess around with it. BTW, I am sorry for buying this pos. IMO you need a new HU when adding a sub to bose. There is way too much eq done in the bose that kills all the bass. Anyone know of a nice double din hu or any other set up that would look nice?

You don't need that box to hook up a sub. If you tap into the rear speakers AFTER the amp, you can use the high level input on a sub with that signal. Works great! Plenty of bass thats for sure.
The EQ is done at the amp, so the signal your getting is totally flat from the BOSE HU. Thats why you get very little bass.
Try to return that POS box and use a sub with high level inputs.
