TL is about 4.6 inches high with the solenoid

R34s are 4" high

So you'd need to cut a slot in the bottom to fit the solenoid in. I know people have done TLs in the OEM housings, though.

Try RX330 projectors. TSX are overrated. FX is good too.

Using a meme does not make it true.

Also, Tigersharkdude...what did you change? You deleted the word "dawg"?

I thought TSX and TLs were some of the best in the market... I've got FX35s in my Max and they're pretty decent but these damn 97-99 headlights are yellowing out on me , trapping the light on the lens itself

yes TLs are too big and even FXs are big but they can be trimmed down to fit... couple people hav done this, Tatanko and Kzoosho off the top of my head... here's pics of Kzoosho's setup

if u relly want bi-xenons w/o trimming down the projectors then go wit E55s or E46s... LR3s are also nice if you're lucky enough to find them for a good price... theres a million different low-beam projectors out there if u dont want bi-xenon or if you're looking to do a dual projector retro...

When you say they're 4" high, is that exact? I'm trying to figure out the right bezels to use for my retro and want to make sure i get ones that i can fit without dremeling off too much material (kind of a tight fit using E55's, but i still want a bezel/shroud).

The inside height of the R34s is pretty close to 4". e55 shrouds might squeeze in, I know they're flexible. E46s need to be trimmed. I had E60 shrouds that I needed to trim too.

FX's will fit in without any cutting of the headlight. Just, FYI.
