centering steering wheel

Ever since my last wheel alignment, the steering wheel is not centered when the car is going straight. Per the FSM you can fix this by adjusting the tie rod ends in "opposite directions." Does anyone know which way to turn each side to make the wheels point more to the left? In order words when going straight, the steering wheel is cocked slightly to the left (if I center the wheel, the car drifts right). So I would need to lengthen the right side tie rod adjustment, and shorten the left side, by the same amount. Just not sure which way to turn each side to do this (clockwise or counter-clock wise as I am facing each side of the car)?

If it hasn't been too long since your alignment I would take it back to them they obviously did something wrong if the wheel was fine before the alignment.

Either take it back to the shop to correct or do it yourself. It's actually very easy to do. Look at the threads on the tie rods, you can easily tell which direction to turn them.

well before going back, put your wheel straight and stand in front of the car and see which way your wheels are pointing, you may think they messed up but in reality you may need new tie rods.
