waste of money. the "hard" part is the exhaust manifold/ypipe. That kit is a universal kit.

1.7" compressor inlet with a claimed .80 AR? That doesn't sound right. I've never seen a turbo with an inlet that small. They say it's only good for 275hp anyway. Plus generic turbos tend to have premature bearing and seal failures.
I think they make the journal bearings out of lead or something softer, like chinese playdough.

+1. I would piece one together and try and get all name brand pieces (Garrett, Tial, etc etc)

I love how the JDM term is thrown onto every single item's description in that auction. AWESOME... it comes with a JDM manual controller. hehe

I wouldn't buy that thing, because he obviously can't speak engrish right.

"NOTE: All of turbo parts and accessories do need to modification in order to fits perfectly. otherwise will list ABOVE."

that right there is a fail...

UPDATED!!

here is my question:

so if my car is 255hp stock and i add this turbo, will i come close to 400 - 500 hp? because i see everything is JDM, and since JDM is a good company, your turbo is really good right? so will i come close to 400 - 500 HP?

I would love to buy it if i can reach that.

because if i can get my hands on two turbo's that would be awesome!!

Here is his response:

Thank you for your message. The overall performance depends on the engine compatibility and tuning after the installation. What we can tell you is that if you do not have a turbo engine, and converting to one with a stock NA engine, the most you gain is roughly 40-50hp gain, but if you rebuild your engine, you may get more out of the turbo depending on the tunings.

The listing said it's for a 1.5-2.0 liter engine. The seller is also saying if your engine is built you will get more out of the turbo, in other words a lower compression build.
