Left part of my cluster started flickering
Left part of my cluster started flickering and it looks like something is going on with one of the bulbs, the previous owner did a cluster swap for the se one and i guess he changed the bulbs because they backround is not white anymore, i would like to go back to the white look of the cluster, my question is how many bulbs will i need and where can i get them ? besides nissan !8$ each

They're just your average 194 bulbs, nothing special. Why they cost so much at the dealer?

The needles dont have their own lights, and you'll see the bulbs for the cluster once you have it out. you have a 99? dont 99's have type 74 bulbs? theyre smaller than 194s.. you can swap in 194s but it requires some work.

While that is correct it does not answer his question. the idiot lights are 74s, which work in the 98-99 clusters, where as 194s wont. Its been a while since i changed out my cluster lights and i don't remember what size bulbs i used, either 74 or 24, which i think is the actual size but its hard to find. The 74's are a hair smaller and might not illuminate as bright... but they'll work fine...
