ok my steering has become sort of edgy to me...car's steering wheel jerks while turning wheel at a slow pace...im wondering if thats a sign of the pump goin bad or something else? reservoir has fluid in it and theres no leaks either.

Why do you people always go for the most expensive part first? Unreal....

Check the belt, make sure it's tight.
If it's glazed, replace it.

Both of those issues can cause it to slip giving you that jerky feel in the PS.
