seems like a waste of money to get one thing if you know your gonna get something else... unless your suspension is toast.

I totally understand why you’d want to use that set up. But what I don’t understand is why you’d want to spend more money than you really need to at the moment, when you’re going to be taking the setup out in the near future for the airbag suspension.

If the struts are worn, then I’d just replace them along with the strut mounts, bearings, etc (if needed). Save the extra cash by buying the GR2’s or the Tokico blues and stash it away for your overall goal.

Or at the most, I would swap in the Tokico HP kit and still be a couple hundred dollars closer to my airbag setup. I know there are some people who do not like the HP kit, but I’m just saying it’s a very acceptable temporary solution.

To me, it just doesn’t sense to spend more money than you really need to right now, on a setup you're going to be taking out at a later date. Unless that later date is years down the road then I say for it.

Just my .02
