help - sticky door won't close well

anybody else have this problem? my rear driver side door over the past year has been difficult to close. seems like it's been getting worse, as in, the door doesn't open or close smoothly, like something isn't lubricated correctly or something.
anybody have any insight to how i can fix this?
thanks.

Lubricate the check link, even WD40 should help for a short term solution.

Any recommendations for a longer-term lube to use?

Also check the doorsill weather stripping. Make sure it's on properly. On a side note, If the weatherstripping feels a bit hard, wash it with a mild soap and water, then massage a little bit of vaseline into it. this just help prevent cracking.

what's the check link?

i've tried adding a little bit of lithium grease to the metal bar that is located about midway down the front of the door and goes inside the door when you close it and extends out as it opens, but it didn't help at all.

I have a similar problem with my front passenger side door, it doesnt align properly with the car when closed and the light inside the car sometimes keeps coming on and off at night which becomes very annoying.. I took it to a body shop and was quoted $200 to fix it!!
