Tein S-Techs and Stillen Front Lip

Quick question...

For those who have a stillen front lip and dropped on Tein S-Techs do you have clearance issues when riding with 16" OEM rims? How about the 14" OEM rims?

Right now im running with 19" rims and want to go back to either stock 14's or stock 16's but im afraid ill be cutting it too close by going to smaller rims.

by cutting it close...i mean the clearance between the pavement and my front lip.

any pics would be helpful if you have the above setup of 14's/16's on teins and stillen lip.

I used to be dropped on Tein S-Tech's and Tokico's
I never had a lip and I hit the ground comming out of my driveway if I did not go on a slant. I would hit on speedbumps and sometimes pot holes. But honestly it all depends where you live. I live in Ottawa Canada, and the salt kills the roads every winter. I personally will never go back to that set up since I think coilovers are probably the best way to go, but to each his own.

there are no 14s, as stated.

Overall diameter of your tire is what matters, not what size wheel you have. since you neglected to mention your actual tire size we can't compare what you have to stock in any meaningful way.

regardless, stillen lip with OEM size tires and S-Techs will work fine but you do have to be careful about parking and going into and out of parking lots/driveways with significant angles. you'll end up scraping the underside of it, or run the risk of cracking/breaking it off if you hit something too tall.

common sense goes a long way...
