CE is is a rip off! you see how much they have the r34's listed for? Their customer service is also terrible, speaking from my personal experience.

Flava, what headlights are those?

They look like the 95-96 parabolics, but you have clear lenses on them, and I know the 97-99 lenses won't fit on the 95-96 reflectors. CE/ebay glass lenses on 95-96 parabolics?

Trust me, I know this. CE has always been $$, but back when Greg owned it the CS wasnt so bad.
I refuse to buy parts from there. No need to really.

They are the 95-96 glass lensed headlights, and your right... the lenses will not fit on the 97-99 housings.
95-96 lenses are flat as the 97-99s are curved.

Then they gotta be those ebay glass lenses. Because 95-96 glass is fluted, and your glass is clear.

Yes, they are. The clear glassed lenses on ebay are modeled after the 95-96 headlights.
The OEM 95-96 glass headlights are the fluted ones.
Trust me, when I bought the 95-96 clear glass lensed headlights I tried to put the lenses on my retroed 97-99 oem plastic lensed headlights and made the discovery of the different shapes.

yup... the 97-99 lens is curved on both sides, but the 95-96 is straight on the inside and curved on the outside.

Looked at the ebay auction, though, and the ebay clear glass ones are cut like the 95-96s.

So you had OEM 97-99 headlights retrofitted, but then switched to OEM 95-96 reflectors and aftermarket clear glass? Sounds complicated

No, I had a early set of 97-99 headlights retrofitted by Maxgtr.
When I saw the release of the 95-96 clear "glass" lenses I had to have them No need to sand and polish. After I bought them, I tried to swap the lenses over to my exhisting retrofit. When they didnt fit, I said F-it and did my own retrofit onto the newly purchased 95-96 housings.
Like I said, I bought two sets of those. One housed my old transfered setup and the second set was for my current setup. My current setup took FOREVER.
First, because I was in no rush since I was already using a retrofit and second I was the first to do a dual projector setup in a OEM styled housing so I was very patient about making it fit and look nice doing so. It also took me a bit to find all the parts to make it work. Im still the only one to have done so to this day as far as I know of.

I don't suppose you might know of a set of corners that would match those headlights? I've searched ebay numerous times for a set of euro headlights like those and corners to match and came up empty...I fail.

You are correct. That was a typo.

You can also tell by the lack of horizontal ridges, and the curves in the bottom inner corner.

However, those headlights are better than OEM. Probably the best candidate available for a bi-xenon retrofit. I like my R34s, but I have a quad setup.
By OEM I meant stock...I guess I should have said OE? They are definitely better than the stock lights, but these were purchased on EBay.

UH, No. of you want good output meaning effective lighting then you have to make them yourself since the current 9004 setup Nissan used BLOWS.
The R34's look nice, but have horrible out, HIDs in reflective housings are a complete waste of money which leaves projectors, ie a retrofit.

It's not uncommon to see HID projector retrofits come up for sale.

Or you can contact a retrofitter like gtr_rider and pay him to do it for you (see my retrofit).

Well...you could always do a 97 trunklid swap.

Then again, I would never condone the use of altezzas. Ever.

I think the Gen 2 alteza led tails look nice, but only with the smoked lens and on dark cars.

FYI for people out there. You CAN do your own retro; that is if you have the time and money. It also requires lots of time and patience and reading up on info to do them. First of all you will need a Dremel for cutting up the housing of our headlight of choice. You will also need to decide what projectors and shrouds to go with. You will need a wire harness to make it all work. The info is out there. Just a little encouragement for those contemplating on doing a retro. I did mine with no experience at all.

Heres mines....Thinking about switching it up tho.

R34s with FX35 projectors & clear lens mod paired with TSX projectors.
GTI replica shrouds with LEDS in them (i try going for the iron man look, but failed because the top and bottom clearance).

I'll post more better pics from the guys who built this for me once I get on my pc.

Cool idea, looks good. It will suck if those leds in there ever go bad though. Ask me why I would bring this to your attention.

Yup, I agree. Remember when they brought back the cefiro style emblem last year? Yea, those def. were nothing close to replicas. They were something more like cardboard stickers lol.

When they were finally manufactured, they had the audacity to send them to the customers that pre-paid for the emblems, including me, without letting us know of the disappointing outcome.

Never again!!!!

Thanks. Well I've been driving over a year with them so far, and thank god it didn't burn out yet. Esp from all the heat the porjectors throw out I would think they would burn out faster. If they do blow out I really don't mind because I want to do something diff with the bezel and projectors.

Just in case anyone wondering why get four projectors when 2 is good enough? Well just brighter then hell and I have a switch so if I'm driving with one on and they blow I'll just flip the switch and the others will go on. Also I drive mainly at night so lighting is pretty important esp during winter driving and heavy down pours.

I don't really care too much about the output, I just like the looks of the projectors.
Thanks for the info, I will probably contact one of these guys once I get some money for HID projectors, looks sick on Maximas

Have you noticed any discoloration of your E46 shrouds? The chrome finish on mine are turning a bit yellowish compared to my E90 shrouds (for the DRL) that are still a nice shiny chrome. Im wondering if they are fake or replicas now, dam ebay auction stated the were authentic and they have the XENON logo which the replicas do not.

Probably the worst looking ones here but I love 'em.

Aftermarket cefiro headlights, e46 bi-xenon projectors with an ebay shroud, h3 3000k fogs, moded corner lights to turn on with the fogs. I also made a custom harness to power the headlights.

Daytime shot

Headlights only

Fogs + corners only

Both
