Wait for your pads to wear down and replace them with Raybestos Quiet Stops...There quiet and they dust about 1/2 as the Nissan original equipment

Get the quiet stops, I have them on the back and front. Great pads! No squeal, hardly any dust.

no no no, you guys are all wrong...

Don't use the brakes. Brake dust is an unfortunate side effect of brake pads rubbing against the brake rotors. The only way to avoid dust coming off the pads is to avoid depressing the brake pedal. When traffic slows down in front of you, use the transmission to slow the car (yes, you'll get "transmission dust", but it won't manifest itself as nasty blask dust all over your rims... it'll be pinkish blue powder all over your axles... this is acceptable). If there is traffic stopped in front of you, do not use transmission braking: instead, utilize the shoulder to go right around those silly "brake dusters"...

If you follow my tips, you'll be on your way to a brake dust-free Maxima driving experience!

Good Luck!

Spary PAM on your rims so the dust doesn't stick to them

Cheaper to replace pads than clucth!! On my 5spds, I never downshift and only use my brakes. No matter the pads'brand, you will always get some kind of dust. The solution is to wash your rims more often with just a sponge and some water. I do it all the time...

It was? Oh man no wonder why I had so many near collisions on lunch after reading how to do this performance braking.

I've found that urinating all over my wheels and brakes works well.

Yeah... I guess that would be ok for his hubs, but if anyone has rims please don't do this. Well, to each his own I guess
