warpspeed y-pipe VS cat-back....
I just installed the WS y-pipe and a Stillen b-pipe and all I can say is wow! And to answer some of the questions of the stock cat back. Yes, it is restrictive. There is a restrictive crimp in the piping to clear the trailing arm, and another crimp before the resonator. I bought the Stillen b pipe that replace the piping from the cat to the factory muffler rear section with a 2.5" mandrel bent SS piping and removes the factory resonator. With the WS-y AND the new B pipe I was able to immediately tell a difference in performance and sound. The sound is very little over stock and has a nice growl at idle and low rpms (kinda like to old Z24s from the 80s). And the performance has increased in low and midrange power and has nice top end pull. I installed this on my 99 se auto with a short ram and I am pleased with this. Believ it or not my auto shifts much smoother due to the engine being more effiectient. Next is a dek of VQ35 swap. Who is that guy that does the swaps for members???

The customaxima catback is well made and sounds good. I installed it on my girls 3.5 swapped max a few weeks ago. The only thing I dont like about it is that the muffler looks kinda ricey. I cant do sound clips yet because she has a leak at her rear header that I need to take care of.
I just installed a Warpspeed Ypipe and Hi-flow cat for a friend on his 4th Gen and i was pretty impressed with Warpspeed's quality and fitment....Worked a$$ off cutting the heads off the cat/ resonator flange.....(wasn't @ my garage) but overall I'd say it realiy cleans up the appearance and room under the car....This makes me wanna join the 4th Gen ranks....There's so much stuff out there for the 4th gens it's crazy! Of course with me having a 3rd and 5.5th Gen a 4th gen would complete my Maxima Craze!
