Help Please Black grease all in my wheel well and inside my wheel??

I just replaced my axles and suspension like weeks ago, and today at the car wash I noticed grease on my drivers side front rim, so I looked further and noticed tons of grease in the wheel well and inside my rim which is really odd. The boot doesnt appear to be ripped or anything and I also noticed that my drivers side starts shaking a lil when I start taking off and gets worse between 20 and 30 miles an hour after 30 its smooth .. no noises or any other symptoms ...

not sure if this could be my wheel bearings or is this grease seeping thru the boot???

The grease is most likely from the boot. There is no other place for that kind of thing to come. You might also need to replace it as it has started to give you shakes and you have driven it. They dont take that much driving without grease.

The CV boot has to be ripped somewhere. Thats the only place that much grease can come from. Jack up the car and rotate the hub in question, looking for a split in the boot.

What they said. That grease had to be flung from your CV axle. That's why you have the shaking. You should be able to tell where the split is by where the grease hit the fender liner.

In the 3 minutes since the his last post, probably not.

Did you do the work yourself and notice the grease when you were there?

I had this happen to me too and it was as a result of the boot being ripped.

Familiarize yourself with the forum, that's a sticky in the Fluids and Lubricants section.
