Could the P0125 Code make me stall?

I was driving into Philly earlier, and my CEL came on. I was in 1st gear, not sure if I was startled by the CEL and let go of the clutch, or the engine turned off. Also, I searched P0125 and saw mixed reviews about people driving with the CEL on. I just recently had my thermostat changed about a month ago also. Anyone have any tips?

i had that same code on my car a few years ago, its the coolant temperature sensor! made my car stall out when i would brake at a red light, also made the car really hard to start in the cold mornings. the sensor is threaded into the coolant passage next to the battery in the engine. really easy fix

Sweet thanks man! Sucks I'll be heading to DC tomorrow morning with my gf. I'll try to change it when I get back! I'll pick it up either in DC or early Monday morning. Is there anything else I need to buy the sensor? Do I need to drain coolant or am I going to lose any coolant?

Funny thing too. I was worried there was something really horrible with the car. So I went to Pepboys and asked how much do they charge to diagnose my CEL. The guy said 98.99! I'm like wtf! So I actually bought a OBDII Scanner earlier for 59.00!

I also got it at Pep Boys. I even walked to the customer service and asked them does that make sense. He was like just like uhh. Scanner worked great though. Plugged right in. No batteries needed. Here's what it looks like. http://www.actron.com/whats_new_detail.php?id=20. Pulled the codes, they even include a booklet telling me what the codes meant.
