fog light rewire on my 97 max..

fog light rewire on my 97 max..

how do i rewire wire the foglights to my park lights so that i can have them on with out having my head lights on??

U can either power from the battery and install a rocker switch and a fuse to make the fogs totally independent or splice into ur side parking lights. Bear in mind that u might blow the fuse from the extra wattage demand for the fogs.

anyone have any issues with re adjusting their fogs w hid's? i cant seem to get mine to align according to the 25ft wall/4inches under the middle of the lamp's position rule...my output sucks

NA Fam its all about how u wire them to the RELAY i did mine work fine plus i took my stock fogs off n connected universal fogs to them work like a charm got pix

foglights rewire..

i know its kind of late but thanks for the ideas.. i will try the battery and make them independent with a switch.. if it doesnt work out ill just rewire them to my park lights...

just wire the trigger to the wiper relay.... 5 minutes and ur done..

where is the OEM fog light switch located? is it on the speedo console like the cruise contol?. on g2ic.com people would connect the power wire to the defroster or hazard lights (which those three switches are next to each other) to have the constant power going when you turn on the fog lights (since the fog lights only turn on when you turn on the headlights). this way when you turn on the fog lights neither the parking or headlights have to be on when you turn on your fogs.

sorry, not to familiar with the interior of a fog light equiped 4th gen and how the fog light switch set up is like or where its at.

It's on the turn signal stalk. If the maxima didn't come with fogs, the stalk wouldn't have the fog switch on it either.
