Ive had my Warp Y for 5 or 6 years now. No issues. Mine is the aluminized version from a GD way back.

There have been issues with others companies flex section coming apart. For Y pipes price doesn't necessarily get you a better pipe.

If the stillen one is old and used, which it most likely is, then it could be worn out. I have a WSP aluminized one and it has done its purpose great for the 4months or so iv had it on.

Yea definitely go for the newer one but if you can get it cheaper, good on you . The only problem I've had with my WSP is that it moved the rest of my exhaust to one side so it some times decides to rattle(very rarely in warm weather but more prevalent in the cold)

My personal experience with Warpspeed was great nonetheless. If the seller wants more than $200 for that Stillen 1 just get it new from Warpspeed.

Stillen would be 130 shipped from a member, the one in the pics, I'd do it, but I want to be sure it's not the "bees in a can" sound, and that the gain is worth it.
Input please, quite honestly this will probably be my only mod

You could get the bees in a can sound with a new y-pipe. If you want to save a few bucks get the used one.

I've had the Warpspeed Y-pipe on my car for 6 or 7 years with no issues.

A bit more info regarding my application so maybe I can get more input regarding sound. I will install this on my 2000 I30 with otherwise stock exhaust, My goal is a pretty much stock sound setup as my only goal would the performance increase.
Does anyone know of the sound difference between the two and also does/did anyone own this series stillen Y as the ones I have seen are two piece units

I have a Stillen Y-pipe that looks just like that, except 2 piece on the front bank so it will work with Cali Spec .... and mine's not black. It should sound and perform the same as mine. No "bees in the can" sound. My car doesn't sound stock, but it's hard to tell how much of that is from the Y-pipe and how much is from other mods (CAI, MEVI, etc.). No complaints from me though!

Believe me there will not be any major sound difference between the 2 y-pipes. Both will give you a deeper than stock sound coupled with your stock exhaust. I've had my stock exhaust and a y-pipe for years and loved the way it sounded. Also I gained 20whp from my y-pipe alone.

Thanks AJ, You have had quality input on past posts so I appreciate the .02, Just curious, if you keep your foot out of it, did you see any improvement in gas mileage?

No problem. I really didnt follow my gas mileage but when I dynoed my air/fuel ratio was almost prefect. So my gas mileage most likely pretty good also.
