Hey,
This first thing I really want to do to my max is lighting. It seems like the easist mod, looks pretty cool and should be pretty easy to do (i hope?)
So i want to change the front lights to blue tinted, or xeons or somthing like that. Im thinking go to VIP Auto and see what the have (theres an old post about what are good front lights, that ill dig up for them).
So is it pretty easy to change the front lights? K, good =)

Next Ive seen those round, clear corner lights on ebay for like 20 bucks. So im thinking thats the next thing to ad. How hard is that install?

Then I want to do some interior lighting. I was thinking about making everysingle light in the car bluish (still white, but blue tint). Like every single light in the car. Would that be annoying, or would it work?
If it wouldnt be hard on the eyes, how hard would it be to do? Theres the reading lights, the door open lights, the gauge lights, what else? And do they even have the same blue light bulb for all of these?

Ok thanks guys

Careful about being too colorful

The local cops may not like it. If it looks blue (or any color not white/yellow) you can be cited (depending which light).

Hm

Non of these lights will be on when the cars on, not usually.Except for the gauge lights, but i dont think the cops would see that.

Don't forget that if you're gonna buy a high watt bulb, buy the upgrade harness also to prevent from blowing out bulbs and melting sockets.

dont worry about the headlights and corners and stuff...its not too illegal...im assuming u cleared out the front...u can buy all ten of the front lights (assumning u have foglights) for under two hundred dollars. it looks hot..after that u have to do the corner light rewiring and the fog light rewiring, the corner light rewiring is so hottttt.......the inside they have hyperwhite too which i would suggest instead of the blue whch is okay...trust me the lights make a big difference

Where can you find bulbs that are superwhite for the fogs (and what type of bulbs are they) ? I have upgraded my headlights (take my advice buy the harness ), corner lenses, and clear corners but my fogs don't look right now. Also where can you find bluish lights for the inside of the car?

Check out

http://www.aieonline.com

I got all my bulbs there and they look great. No problems, Adam there will hook you up. They have all the 1157's, 194's and H3's, as well as the 9004 headlight bulbs.

Superwhite dash guages, why didn't I think of that>! I just put GE blue bulbs in there, but I'm not crazy about them... they look kind of green.

Ok so how much are these lights?

And what do i have to rewire for? The clear corners and stuff i have to re-wire? Or do i just take out the old and put in the new? I was hoping this was a pretty easy mod....

If you want real "WHITE" on the dash lights

Try the PIAA Super Plasmas... They are really bright compared to the stock ones that have the bluish coat.
A bit expensive when you have to buy 3 sets... (5 needed)

Does anyone have Vision Superwhites? They're pretty bright and have a slight bluish tint. They are also 80/100W.

The clearance lights next to HL are a little>>

tough to remove without scratching the bumper (on my car at least). You'll need a long flathead screwdriver... instructions in owners manual. HL bulbs are easy to replace. You may have to adjust the aiming of your HL depending on the bulbs you buy. I've found that some aftermarket bulbs need to be realigned.
