About to order Ksport springs...

Hey guys, I just bought some 17" 350z rims and before I put them on, I wanted to lower the car. For now I want to just order Ksport springs and install them on the OEM struts, and I'm aware that this isn't the best thing to do and may not last long but it's all my budget allows for now.

I've searched, but I just want to make sure that these springs would fit on the OEM components for the time being.

I picked up these rims

Yeah, there is a high probabiilty u will blow the OEM struts by changing spring height.

Alright, thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, i did order them, but what struts would you suggest for the budget minded? I don't know too much about suspension parts, i've been trying to educate myself.

Thats good to hear because i'm probably going to end up doing the same. Then maybe struts or coilovers.

Since you already ordered the springs, put them on when you get them. There are a few people on here thats riding on stock stuff without much problems, you might just be able to get by for a while. When your ready, your choice of struts can be illuminas or agx.

Isnt the Ksport drop very aggresive? I would never chance riding on stock struts with that drop, unless you bought a different ksport drop, these ones are rated 2.2 front and 2.0 rear

I'll just install them on stock struts for the time being, but with the driving I do I doubt it would be a problem. I mostly drive to school and home and just regular city driving on smooth roads.

As far as struts go, I'll probably end up going with Kyb agx. Some people said gr2 which I've seen really cheap but to my understanding they are pretty much stock replacement and don't give the best ride.

I am using gr2 with a 1.7 drop and it is fine. I have heard many horror stories about agx and cold weather. I would get illuminas for not much more in price than agx

It turned out quite well actually, I've had them installed for a little over a month now and I am very happy. I still have stock rear struts, and although not much of an upgrade, I have monroe front struts along with Ksports.

Thread I made with pics after drop and rims:

Good luck with the install! I did mine in my back yard over two days, but it was worth it and I didn't have to pay for labor.
