stalling problem

yes i was just wondering - i have a 95 maxima with about 95 thousand miles - every once in a while when i start it up it starts up fine but then i press the gas to drive away it will stall out - this has also happened at stop lights when i am waiting for the light to turn green i press the gas to drive it stalls right in the road - does anyone know what this could be? i just got a full tune up - and they said that would fix it but it still stalls - so i figured i would ask on the forum

did your check engine light come on ... any codes? i have a 95 gle w/115,000 miles on it, and my mafs went a couple months ago. i changed the mafs and cleaned the throttle body & iacv and it's good as new. maybe someone else here has other ideas. good luck

first thing to do.. go to the auto parts store.. and get some "Fuel Injector Throttle Body Cleaner" ... clean the TB .. then see if the problem disapears...

pretty much everything Maury said (sorry greggy poo )

second... check the PVC valve ..

third check the spark plugs ...

fourth.. check the coil packs

fifth.. check the MAFS ..

sixth.. check the TPS..

read the thread below it will give you great ideas to find your problem..
