Inner Tie rod??

Inner Tie rod??
Ive noticed a weird problem with my steering. While making a right turn(only right) through a curve, i notice that there is a sudden yank sort of feel. It almost feels like its trying to over steer, or when a rear wheel drive car kicks out. This is not caused by me hauling A** around a corner, this is around a normal corner at normal speeds.
So i jacked it up the car on both sides, the pass side feels pretty good, but the driver side has a little play side to side and def feel/hear a slight knock under the car at the tie rod.
Also, when i come out of the corner and straighten up it kicks one more time like its falling back into place.
Would a bad inner tie rod cause this?

i actually had to replace an inner tie rod on my max. have some one shake down the front end and grab the adjustng rod if you feel the play through that specific point good chances its an inner tie rod. the outter on the other hand again with someone shakin down the wheel just take a glance at the joint (not that joint) and there should be no play in the ball and socket if there is its the outer. do you hear clunking? cuz upper strut mounts are known to bind up. i hope this is of some help. oh and to the answer to your question; yes. if its bad enough. you also might not be able to keep the wheel in one position itll be all over the place.

Chances are that your inner tie-rods have never been done. People always do the outers and neglect the inners.
If your wheel has play, it could be the following:
Side to Side = Inner tierod, outer tierod, bad hub/bearing, loose axle nut
Top to bottom = ball joint, bad hub/bearing, loose axle nut
Best way to tell if your inner tierods are bad is by separating the outer tierod from the spindle/knuckle and move the entire inner/outer assembly up and down and see if there's any resistance at all. It there's virtually no resistance then its time for some new inners and might as well do outers while you're there. Be prepared to get an alignment too as you will definitely need one.
