Just picked this bad boy up. Looked at it yesterday ~8, and now it's in my drive way
1999; Southern Cali car, purchased from original owner @99k. All maintenance records, and keys/fobs. All the available options, even has the rare gray leather interior. Fidanza lightweight flywheel, 5th gen clutch, SS clutch & brake lines, B&M short shift, ES motor mounts, EGR block, ghetto airbox mod. Blazer+pp hid, and pp hid headlights. And Valentine V1
2003; Previous owner purchased it on a 36 month lease return, has had it since. All maintenance records, and keys/fobs. Has 102k, the interior is in better shape than the 05-06 G35's with 30-40k I've been looking at. Every available option, minus navigation. This is the frst autotragic
I've ever owned, and I gotta say, with the 3.5

Yea even with rust, 3rd gens dont have that problem like 4th gens do with the weak radiator core support that rusts out completely. My 3rd gen was unfortunate and perhaps not taken care of here in the rust belt in regards to the strut tower and rocker panels but its a more solid structure IMO.Originally Posted by ampire
rust?
I love all Maximas so dont take it as hatred

Ha ha I bought my 4th gen from southern cali, the original owner. It's been in Utah almost 4 years now. I still love to crawl under it to see no rust, and not having to carry a case of wd-40 or liquid wrench. Originally Posted by ColombianMax

+1. Also after seeing the long thread about the CVT trannys in the 6th gen makes me wonder about future Maxima reliability
