Washing new tint

I just got my windows tinted today. They look amazing. I know I can't open my windows for a few days but is it ok to wash the outside? I assume the tint is on the inside so it shouldn't be a problem right?

Washing the outside is cool, and once the tint is sealed on the window (a couple of days or whatever the shop told you) you can clean the inside with a damp rag with a tiny bit of soap on it.

What he said. . .

Re: cleaning inside of tint-

Just make sure you use a clean, soft, COTTON rag or towel. Mix a very diluted amount of soap in a small pail w/ warm water. (Way less than you'd use to do dishes or wash your car)

(The water shouldn't even have suds - you're just looking for the mild detergent effect of the soap to break down any oils or residue on the surface of the tint)

Use a separate dry cotton towel/rag (to follow wet application) to dry the tint.

Btw, you shouldn't have to do this for a few weeks, unless you or your passengers smoke in the car.
