All about brakes....

I'm changing my brake pads and maybe my rotors...I haven't done brakes in awhile and had some questions. I'm going to get the porterfields and maybe some rotors...What are some good rotors??? How much will it improve my braking? Where can I get them? Ohh yeah should i bleed the brakes because i heard we should do it like once a year or something? How do you tell if your rotors are getting low or warped?

Thanks

Get some slotted rotors, they are about the same price as rotors you would buy at pep boys and cheaper then what you would pay at a Nissan dealer. I think that you have to bleed the lines everytime you do a brake job? not sure though.

No. Not required to bleed brakes w/ rotor or pad swap, but if you're already down there dealing with the brakes, you might as well swap out the fluid too. (every couple of years is normal if you don't race). If you're working by yourself, get a set of speed-bleeders.
