Is it still any good if i recharge it?

I took it to place to get a free break check. Some reason they took out my air filter and left it outside the housing. I did not notice till I got home. This was YEARS ago.

As long as the filter itself isn't cracked I don't think it will make a difference.

As long as the filter is not punctured in any way, it will be fine.

If you had thought about it a couple of years ago, you probably could have made the place that did the free brake check replace the filter at their cost due to negligence on their part.

its a washable lol why toss it it'll be fine just not at peak airflow down a whole .0000003% just check the mesh for bigger holes.

You need to wash that thing real nice. You may also want to look into them new type of filters that are dry.

Just wondering, did you have to send them the old one while you waited for the replacement?

My Stillen cone (K&N filter) has really seen a lot of abuse over the years and could probably use replacement.

Here is what I emailed.

I have a K&N air filter on my 95 Maxima that looks defective.

I took it out of the housing and it looked like the above photos.
