R.I.P.
I come with not so good news. I am no longer a maxima owner as my maxima was in an accident two weeks ago. Those of you that have been around the org know that this max has been a proud member since 2001, through my cousin and then myself.
Insurance has custody of the vehicle as they deemed the quote for the repairs were more than 50% of the car-dealer worth.
![bawling](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/bawling.gif)
I hope to honor her by obtaining her again and proceeding with a part-out. (I will not be selling any of my audio/video). I will make a list of the things available around next week.
In the meantime while I shop for a new car, I just want to say thanks to the entire board for all your help over the years, and you all made me proud to say I was once a Maxima owner.

I would say you will have no problem with selling the stillen kit. Probably the chrome door handles, some of the black interior.
Part outs are a great way to make some money from the car, but I wonder if they are worth it... dealing with shipping quotes and such like that. Every other guy saying "I will take such and such and then not following through with it".
If it were up to me, I would take them $$$ from the insurance company and consider the rest a loss. You can still go back to the car and get some of the "personal items" correct?
but yeah that does suck

But if you get it back and plan on parting it out, let me know how much you want for the body kit, bumper lights and grille if they are not damaged. Also if you would be willing to ship that truck setup, I want that as well.

Sorry to hear this. I had a 'minor' accident with my 98 and the adjuster recommended to the ins to pay the repairs even though it was over 50%, just because the car had lots of work and was so good before. But the repairs were only about $3k, I was lucky that the adjuster was sympathetic. If you get the car back, is it worth it to you to fix ? or is it too badly smushed ? It looks really hot is the sig, but I know that the 'glass and painting is pretty costly.
Best luck in this.

Bump. For sale as is. I didn't repair it but damages are minor and car still drives. Great project car, Left as is.
You get everything except the system. I am pulling it out tomorrow. If anyone wants a great project car with a young engine let me know so we can negotiate.

Yea ill post a few pics of the aftermath. Honestly it wasnt that bad at all, and if I wanted to I couldve had her new in no time... I was just urging to move on... I know I know, dont bash me lol
I got an Audi A6 2.7T. I will always love Nissan and Maximas because they were the closest to German engineering (Body wise) and IMO have the best engines in Japan.
I made the move because I got to keep my stereo system that I'm going to throw in the A6, and I got it chipped already. Stock comes with 250hp and now is around 290 twin-turbo.
Kinda wish I sold it to someone on the ORG, but I wasnt checking the site often and missed a few offers... WOMPP
