Hello.

Hi to one and all . I am very pleased to be returning to the site after a few years hiatus . I went full circle all the way from a M35 back to a 4th gen 5spd.
I just wanted to say hello and thanks for keeping this site running after all these years. I will need help to get my current 4th gen back up to running condition .
Thanks to one and all.

Thank you . I am doing the axles, energy suspension swaybar bushings and end links, tierod ends with boot and ball joints. I was given free gabriel ultra shocks\struts , which I have install . I am hoping to replace them in the near future to some affordable kyb GR 2. It has multiple codes, mainly o2's . The exhaust system is getto rigged from someone else , I will need to replace the down pipe \y pipe to cat, then the B pipe to exhaust. The funny part is, someone hacked the shifter off , now I will need a new stock shifter rod . The seats are leather but the driver side is badly worn.
Over all it is not a bad car for a 13year old car.
Thank you for reading.

Well , I started out with a 90 GXE auto , got married sold the GXE and purchased an IS300, bought a 97 SE 5sp (in sig) , did all the usual N\A upgrades then sold it for little or nothing to a friend ... purchased a 2002 6MT maxima which I called my oil burner.. I kept it for a few years then traded it in for a Toyota Sienna fully loded. One day on the Florida turnpike I totaled the IS300 .. I was suddenly able to take the money from the IS300 and purchased a M35 2007 fully loaded with active rear steering . I kept it until a few months ago and had to let it go due to a divorce ..
I am now a poor fellow going back to my roots .. One day I saw an almost identical car to my previous 97 maxima and the rest is history. I am now in an unending quest to fix this car up . I hope with all the help from this community I will be able to get it back up and running.
Thank you one and all for your help.

Nothing beats the 4gen man, it is the sexiest maxima ever created in my eyes.. I know many will beg to differ.. but to each is their own. Your car looks nice and clean.

We do meet. Every 3rd saturday or sunday of the month. Goto the Southeast sub forums and look for a thread called the CFL monthly max meet.
