Hate to have to tell you this but you will have to take the gauge cluster back out. Chances are that the needle is probably touching the face of the gauge, which will cause the needle to stick

Ahhh.... yes, the sticky speedo indiglo problem.

It's because the needle is rubbing against the indiglo face. Try using small dabs of glue from a hot glue gun behind the indiglo and see if it'll stay down more.

I just used double-sided scotch tape....that worked just fine.

I don't know if I'd put glue on the original faces, because I may want to return to stock someday.

But then again, I painted my needles silver with a permanent paint pen, so I guess I'd be screwed when I go back to stock anyway....maybe some rubbing alchohol?

Well ... I'm not talking superglue. I'm talking about little hobby glue guns. They're sticky enough for the gauges to stay down, but you can also just pick them off if you ever decide to return to stock.

And just keep the needles silver. They probably won't notice the difference or might even like it.

Haha.

It's a silver paint pen, so the light doesn't shine through it...heh.

The tips of the needles are red sharpie, so it does give a cool effect at night, because you can only see the red tips of the needles. But I expect whoever owns the car next won't groove with that.

Anyway, I'm rambling now....

I suppose that glue will work.

What I did was remove the stock gauges and put on the idiglos. That worked well, but if you really want to return it to stock its not really a good idea, cause you have to cut off the old ones.

I will sell my car with the indiglo in them...I only paid $8,000 for my car almost two years ago...I am not expecting much in another two years, so I could care less if the buyer likes it or not.
