hey guys do u know if a h&k/apexi muffler for a 96 max will fit on my 98 max? im about to get it from someone thanks

 

If it was first installed on a '96, and then you just bolt it right onto your '98, it will be short, meaning the tip might not come all the way to the bumper cover and maybe won't even be close.

If the muffler was originally welded onto the '96, i.e. this was a universal muffler, have a muffler shop cut off the hangers and reweld the thing for your car, should cost $20 but no more than $50 depending where you live...
