Car Won't Start

So, I didn't drive my car for 2 weeks. Went to start it today and when I try to start the car it makes a loud metal on metal noise like I'm trying to start a chainsaw. Car won't even attempt to turn over. Anyone know what would cause this?

I thought it was the starter so took the old one to Autozone and got my free lifetime replacement. Installed it and it still makes the loud, metal whirring noise. Even bought a ground wire and ran it from one of the bolts on the starter to the negative battery terminal close to the battery tray. Still does the same thing.

Some other people are thinking may be some of the teeth on the fidanza flywheel are damaged and may be causing this.

Its your flywheel those Fidanza flywheels are weak, I went back to stock. Had the same problem your having ,thought it was the starter but when i took the starter out put my hand where the flyweel ring is a it spun around took the flywheel out and the the bolts that hold the ring were loose.

Good call on the Fidanza flywheel 96sleepergle. I removed the cone filter and midpipe and stuck a flashlight in the hole. Upon further investigation, 3 of the flywheel teeth are broke.
