brake pad question

anyone used oreilly's wagner pads? I get them for 60 buck for all pads and am on a super tight budget , I got my rotors turned for free , so that was lucky , but now I am not sure on NAPA pads or wagner oreilly pads , both are about 60$ for all 4 anyone have any personal experiece>?

also do I need a hardware kit or anything? someone said that I did and the brakes how to is not working. I only have done brakes on honda's before and its just put in new pad , put on rotor , bolt back up and bleed and done.

also has anyone use any autobleeders? I will be doing this by myself and thought about renting a bleeder from autozone since it costs virtually nothing.

Are those Wagners the Thermo Quiet Stop pads? If so, yes they are good, I've run them, the rear set is still on the car. Had to replace the fronts after about 35K miles.
I have them on my Explorer as well, no issues at all.

You should also flush the brake fluid. It's hydroscopic (absorbs moisture) and degrades over time. It should be changed every time you do a brake job. Also make sure you clean and lube the guide pins. Brakes are easy, just take your time and do them right!

the duralast gold ceramic pads are better and cheaper man from autozone they grab the hell out the rotor and very little dust.

For $60, you could pretty much get really good pads such as the Hawk HPS. However, you'd have to wait to have them shipped to you....

I've used wagner brake pads for years, now that I'm in Texas I get them at O'Reilly's. The work fine for my driving which is harder than average. One tool you will need is for the rear calipers - you have to screw them back in, not push them.
