when replacing the coil pack does Nissan say to use dieelectric grease on the boot or on the top of the plug?

is dieelectric conductive? seems it would not be a good idea to use it?

yeah i dont know about that one, i just put anti seize in the screws got the coil paks

Dielectric grease is a non-conductive, silicone grease designed to seal out moisture and, therefore, prevent corrosion on electrical connectors. Being non-conductive, it does not enhance the flow of electrical current. This property makes it an ideal lubricant and sealant for the rubber portions of electrical connectors.

If you use it, place a little on the plug BELOW the top metal conductor, it will allow the boot to slide on easier and not be stuck the next time you change the plugs. Don't get any on the metal part of the plug

true that does make sense. i pulled mine off and they were dirty and sticky. maybe i'll go back and do that then
