NOOOB Question? 3.5 Swap
Ok well i have a 97 i30 and i really want to get a engine swap done to the 3.5.
I called a couple mechanic shops and most of them have rejected me, they say its a lot of work and not worth it. I dont know if they are being lazy or just really dont want to deal with this. They said i have to replace computer and all kinds of bull****. One mechanic said hell charge me 5000 i was like hell noo.
Can somone give me a good explanation of what i would need to get the 3.5 and a rough estimate on the price of installation. Thanks

The least I have seen for the swap done my a "mechanic" was $3,000. That was someone on here. Your best bet will be to try to find someone on here that is in your area and has done the swap
