punched in headlight on 4gen (how to go about it?)

this car was a hand-me-down and my cousin gave it to me with its headlight punched in. how? i never got a straight answer out of her. most obviously she rear-ended someone.
at this point you're probably thinking i'm crazy for not fixing it before but i don't care much for cosmetics in terms of cars. i just decided that it is annoying to look at...

now here... it looks like that frame-like thing is bent.

will anyone with headlight experience help me out with a few pointers and tips?

Remove the headlight and attach a slide hammer to the attachment point in the 2nd pic.

if money isnt a problem bnrz, i suggest u look up some upgrades u could install on your max instead of fixing it. the older the generation is the more options u get, trust me ive looked this up. i have an 04 & it hasnt been easy finding a local & near place that has any options @ all when it comes to maximas from 04 & up. you have a gem on your hands. tail lights next?

i've read this a few times.

Get a malet/rubber hammer and bang it back into place, you could also put in some sort of spacer or something? like a large washer/s.

bumping with new problem.

I opened it up today.
the plastic part where the adjusting **** is broke into two.
I think I'm just going to buy a new passenger headlight assembly. Is there another CHEAPER way to do this? I found one for 82 bucks.

What do you guys think?

Yes, car part.com the part. Shop around. Funny thing is I ordered my replacement from where u speak of, it doesn't match lense look. I ended up returning and purchasing a new one for each side for 40 a side from rock auto. Looks cleaner now and you get 2 for the price of 1!

ebay has pretty much the same deal: 97-99 (clear plastic lens instead of glass, better light output) headlights for $60. Mine were Eagle Eyes brand.
