Which strut boot/bellow?

Hey, guys!

I'm planning on getting some new excel-g's for the front and gr2's for the back for our 97 i30. Which strut boot/bellows are going to fit?
i've read that kyb sb104 don't fit the fronts, not sure about sb108 for the rears.

Thank you!

Yeah those boots and stops are horrible. I recommend getting the courtesyparts replacement from courtesyparts.com.

see: http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...-pictures.html.

the courtesy parts OEM 54050m is the set to get. It looks exactly like the picture shown in the sticky:

I just got new boots for my Illuminas. I looked at the suspension sticky (quoted by ampire). I got the KYB Mustang and Miata boots, definitely a waste of time. The rears fit ok, but the fronts didn't look like they fit quite right (too short). I would get the OEM ones if I did it again and I would just cut them.

yes, same thing I did. Fronts sucked. Rears I kind of jury-rigged on. I had to go and tear out the front suspension and redo it with the better oem bump stops and bellows sold by courtesyparts anyway after having some issues.

For my lowered setup, i cut exactly like the sticky. Its been ~1000 miles, haven't noticed any problems. Hopefully won't!
