Bad News

This is horrible. I just found out that i won't be getting my car back from the shop and the end of this week. I wanted it back before christmas but now it won't be ready until next week after the holidays.

In case you are wondering, i was in a car accident about a month and some change ago. This old woman nailed me on my side in the front cuz she was trying to rush across the intersection, but didn't see me coming. Luck for me i had the right of way and her insurance paid for it!

I feel your pain...

I was in the same situation twice this past summer. Look at it this way; wouldn't you rather have the shop do the job right, even if it takes a little longer? I know I would.

Still have it...now my mom's driving it! However, she should be safe, she's in Buffalo.

Like me? It was painful to go without the Max for a good chunk of the summer/fall.

Don't worry- it'll be next week before you know it

I told the guy to take his time and do it right cuz id rather it be fixed the right way then them rushing to get it done and i have to bring it back because something is wrong. Or worse, i could kill myself because something was not put together correctly.

BTW the good news is that he said since i have been very patient and all he was going to touch up the scratches on back bumper which is great cuz i got a black car!

Apparently, the accident streak is still going on strong.

We had an unusally high # of car accidents in the month of August '01. Medic was just making a comment that the 'streak' of accidents is still alive.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if there're a few posts throughout this winter b/c some drivers don't know how to handle wintery road conditions. I for one will be xtra careful... I've learned my lesson.
