How to replace the ignition switch?

Hello all,

I searched but could not find the right thread yet. Can you point me to the thread showing how to replace the ignition switch on my 1997 Maxima?

Thanks in advance.

When we bought our 97 maxima the seller said there was nothing wrong with the car and absolutely everything worked except the trunk release and antenna. So we made the deal, and as we're about to drive it home he's trying to show me how to hold the key to get it to start... a-hole...

Wife couldn't start it the next day and was super pissed. I got a new ignition switch for about $50 from nissan, and it was super easy to install. Problem solved.

And the trunk problem was solved when reading through the forums I found out there's a locking switch and I just had to flip it, lol.
