I think all the fitment problems i've heard people complaining about are from Cattman. Ironic that they are the most expensive too.

I am glad I went with Warpspeed.

Since you said yourself that you dont know much about cars they may be capitalizing on it. They may think since you dont know much that you wont complain. Tell them your paying so they should be able to do the work. If not you will go else where. Lots of places will do it for you and take the time to do it right.

My Cattman Ypipe fit just fine (put it in yesterday), no issues at all, and no bees in the can noise.

I don't want them to **** up my car anymore..
I'm just going to wait till cattman sends me a good one or go to another body shop and see if it's possible to fix... cause it seems like other people are having fitment problems too

your first mistake was taking it to body shop. take the loss, (its only 50 bucks) they could have got you for more. take it to a specific local muffler shop. not a franchise like meineke though. or anything of that nature.

Definitely take it somewhere else. Any place that sends you home with the pipe not fitting right sucks ***. Definitely get it done by a muffler shop though. They do this stuff all the time and know how to deal with fitment issues. 304 stainless is a little less workable too. My Cattman had fitment issues as well but but the muffler shop dealt with it. Took 2 hours labor though.

my cattman also had fittment issues but I think it was perfect when it left cattman but somehow it got bent during shipping cause the y joint was a little off like someone stepped on it or got ran over by a truck or something. I got it installed at a private shop thats owned by some honda racers/tuners so they worked on it for about 2 or 3 hours trying to get the pipe to fit and it finally did(got it on about midnight). I only had to pay $50. one of my manifold studs snapped though but thats the price I had to pay for forcing the pipe on. Its been on for a long time now and no leaks or problems. Good luck with your pipe.

What about asking people from the org near where you live and ask them where to go. Or just hook up with an org member that knows more about car.

Warpspeed denied that I could have had this problem, so the fact that at least three others had the same problem, means we're all liars.

Great......now I'll be getting more hate e-mail from a certain company with lawsuit threats because somehow, someway, it will be my fault....and I don't have a y-pipe from anyone......

My Cattman SS Y had problems going on too. We just got under there with a jack, lined up the holes as best we could and jacked it up, it popped right in. I think the pipes he makes are handmade, not done by a machine, that might be why each one is different.
