Fog Light + Bracket Install Guide

Here we are again, with another How-To, I apologize for the picture quality, I had very poor lighting (Barely enough for even me to see) so the pictures are going to be a bit blurry and dark.

Also my car has a front end collision in its history before I got it, and it was then that I found out my frame was slightly bent. So the bolt holes all shifted a bit.... So what was supposed to take 10 minutes took hours.

But in the end I wrestled it in and bent the bracket to make it work. And comparing the output to my aftermarket fogs with the OEM ones, I was kind of... dissapointed. I could actually see a beam pattern on my aftermarkets but I can't see a thing with the OEM fogs.

But at least my car looks more AWESOME! Who needs functionality when you got cosmetics, right!?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh no it no fit! the brackets are too big to fit in the front.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

So we will go in the back.
First make sure to remove the under guard it is one screw and one 10mm bolt. Then you can just pull the flap down and that is all you need.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

There are bolt holes at the top part of the fog light area and its not on the bumper itself but on the metal frame behind the bumper.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't have any bolts for the bracket or fogs so I had to go buy some and these fit perfectly.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget bolts!

Now after bolting the bracket to the frame, its only 3 bolts by the way; you can now hook up the fogs!

--------------------------------------------------------------------

This part goes into the hole first.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is where you want to stick the stud into.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Now that everything is in place we look to the other side of the fog light to find these.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

And they are bolted to here.

Just like this.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Install is the same on the other side.

Put on your trim pieces (If you have them) and you are good to go!

Now enjoy your fogs!

Oh and for those wondering I didn't go with the whole stalk, relay and fuse mumbo jumbo.

I had my own set up from the aftermarket fogs and I just soldered the OEM connection to my wires to the relay so I can turn them on and off separately.

ADJUSTING FOG LIGHTS:

The screw on the back of the fogs adjust up and down:

LEFT = Up
RIGHT= Down

To adjust the fog light beam left and right you need to fiddle with the part where the fogs bolt to the bracket and bend them or use spacers (washers). But the beam looks so spread out its like a gigantic cone so left and right isn't really necessary unless its really messed up. Kind of like my car where the frame was messed up and so the bracket had to be bent a tiny bit to make it fit.
