Question about changing from ACC to MCC. Please help.

I drive an I30 and I've seen numerous threads about how it's very time consuming to change from a manual climate control to an automatic. What I haven't seen is if it's possible to change it from automatic to manual. I've searched and found nothing. Can anyone tell me if it's easier to go backwards? If so is there a write up somewhere out there? And, if there is does anyone have the link to it?

Why would you want to change from auto to manual climate control? Just curious...

I don't think there is a write-up for this conversion but looking at both my car which is manual and the one I just got with auto climate control, it will be excessive. You pretty much have to swap parts inside the dash along with the wire harness.

Damn. I was hoping it'd be easy as getting the manual console. I guess that was wishful thinking. ^_^
