usually a piece of thin tinted soft flexible plastic that covers your headlight/taillights/foglights.
Sometimes it's yellow to give the "JDM" appearance and on your foglights.
smoked on the taillights.

true... I forgot about the roof.
trunk/hood/ wheels (yes I have seen it)/ and various other parts can be wrapped in vinyl.

thanks did not know that actually had a name lol to answer the original post I beleive lamin-x has some. http://www.lamin-x.com/ this one guy who does tint jobs swears by this company but don't take my word for it I never had them on my car. thanks for answering the question JSMAX and RENOTS if I could have followed the link I would have but since I was at work it would not allow me.
