Maxima CF MEVI replacement cover

Hi Guys, how you all doing...

I purchased this item from ionicoynamics.com.

Has anyone installed the CF Mevi replacement cover on the 4th Gen? If you did do this can you post a photo so I can see how to get it installed. If not, if you have a hookup to get it installed for me, I'd appreciate it...

I am in need of some suggestions on how to get this done. TIA

If you don't have an MEVI then you can't install it.

Since you already bought the cover, just do the MEVI swap. That way you can use it and gain some ponies while you're at it.

Doesn't common sense tell you that a MEVI cover is a cover for a MEVI? You should've either...
A) Figured that out yourself or..
B) Asked this question on here before buying the damn thing.

Sorry you can't use it but just try to find a MEVI and slap that ***** on.

For some weird reason I thought this was the cover of the actual butterfly valves, not the cosmetic plastic thingy on the engine. I didn't even order one when I got mine.

A lot of people dont, they prefer the look of it without the cover.

FWIW,
Once you find a MEVI, make sure it has the cover moutning bracket as well, or you still will not be able to use the cover.

Take it easy we all make mistakes time to time. Can't you return the cover for a refund?

Oh DUH! MEVI covers for the actual.... MEVI.

I thought all this time that it was a name or a brand of some sort and that it was a valve cover because there was a little hole that is for the oil cap.

I feel just like I did when I found out chrome spray paint wasn't actually chrome.

In the picture on the first post, on the front side of the MEVI cover there is a little gap or hole on the left, that I for some reason thought was to go where the oil cap goes so that when you screw it in, it will hold the cover.

No clue why I thought it was a valve cover for our cars, maybe I've been looking at too many 240 engines or too many RB26s.

Or maybe I'm just high out of my mind.

What was I talking about again?
